Bulletin News & Upcoming Events - 2008The Croskery family donates electric wheelchair to CWAC to help train service dogs! Thanks to the generosity of the Croskery family, Canines with a Cause will now count with an electric wheelchair to help train the service dogs. Although we count with the kind support from volunteers who use these chairs to help expose the puppies to work around this type of equipment, there isn't anything like having one handy to ensure all the dogs get comfortable with walking beside one, and maneuvering around one when being trained to eventually assist their human partner.
A special thank you also goes to Tally Ho, for taking note that CWAC had the need for this equipment after checking our wish list. We have waited years for this moment and we are very grateful to all of you.

Contact us to get the registration documents and pledge form. Bring your friends and register your team for $180 Team Registration Fee with a minimum 6 people per team and maximum of 10. Trivia questions, pizza, coffee, raffle prizes, and more. PLEASE NOTE: One of the Trivia Rounds (10 questions) will be about the wonderful Canadian artist ALLISON CROWE!!! Visit her website to learn more about her: http://www.allisoncrowe.com/ Teams are encouraged to collect pledges for Canines with a Cause. Teams raising over $200 will automatically receive 10 free raffle tickets for the draw (one ticket per member of the team). Teams collecting pledges over $500 will receive 20 entries to the draw (2 tickets per each member of the team). Teams collecting money over the amount required for the registration would be entitled for a tax receipt for the extra amount. For example: if your team is bringing forward $300, the first $180 are registration fee, and the rest $120 are considered a donation, thus entitled for a tax receipt for the amount of $120. With Trivia Night we hope to raise much needed funds to run Canines with a Cause so we can continue to provide the services to those who come to us in need of an assistance dog.
