Nellie came from the wonderful rescue group ARPH. She's a
is a 6 month old blue merle Australian Shepherd female who has shown great potential for training to become a seizure response dog. She's a confident and energetic puppy, very smart and keen on the training. Like many sheepdogs, happy to have a job and a purpose!

Nellie 5 months -socializing with Molly the cat who teaches the CWAC puppies how to behave around a cat

Nellie 5 months - leaning control around food. The handler, Julie More, is waiting for Nellie's eye contact before giving her the go ahead to eat the treat she's so focus on.

Nellie 5 months - during a visit to the special needs children's class at a local elementary school. These therapeutic visits are wonderful for the children who exercise and relax the tense musses in their hands and arms to throw the ball for the dogs or brush them. It is also great socialization for the CWAC dogs who learn to be comfortable around the wheelchairs and other types of equipment

Nellie 5 months -at the school therapy visits with Noah taking it all in. Some of the children are sensitive to touch. The dogs are wonderful source of different textures for the children to feel and be able to realize it is 'ok' to touch.
