Canines With a Cause Wall of Honor

By May 18, 2016June 14th, 2016No Comments

Honor a veteran in your life and help another veteran in need of our program!

Now, by making a $100 donation to Canines With a Cause, you can honor the military service of someone special.

When you make a $100 tax deductible donation to Canines With a Cause, we’ll place a plaque on our Wall of Honor with the name, rank and service of your loved one. The Wall of Honor will be displayed at events such as the Honoring Our Heroes Golf Tournament and in our office/training facility.

Made of beautiful Hickory wood with brass plaques, you can commemorate a veteran in memoriam or honor retired, active duty and reserve military personnel.

Your support lets Canines With a Cause give military veterans and abandoned shelter dogs the chance at a rewarding and purposeful life.

Our Pawsitive Healing program works with female prison inmates who train and prepare the shelter dogs coming into our programs for veterans.

Our programs help military veterans overcome the challenges of PTSD and psychiatric disabilities. With a reported 22 suicides each day our vets and their families deserve a chance to heal. Our train the trainer approach is an avenue to learn, socialize, overcome obstacles and gain confidence by partnering with a canine companion. By training their own assistance and service dogs, our veterans improve their overall wellbeing and their ability to interact in a positive way with family and in society.
