The Military & Veteran Counseling Center invites you to show your appreciation for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in laying down their life for our country.
May 27th at 7.00 PM located at the University of Utah Union Ballroom
Please come support their families in an exclusive memorial service. Families will participate in the assembly of Utah’s first monument consisting of 732 “dog tags” engraved with the names of every fallen Utah service member from the Korean conflict to present.
Speakers include Utah’s Senator Mike Lee, Adjutant General, Maj Gen Burton and Director and trauma therapist Melanie Squire.

Who is invited to attend? Anyone who would like to attend the event is welcome including organizations, veterans and community members.
If I lost a family member can I attend without participating? Yes, we would like you to be able to participate at a level that feels comfortable to you. You also have the option to sit with other Gold Star families.
Families of Utah’s fallen are invited to contact the Military and Veteran Counseling Center to help personally participate with their family members engraved dog tag and a remembrance video. Pictures of your fallen family member can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org along with the represenative you would like to hang your family members dog tag.
